Hopefully you too have resolute to learn from mistakes and make 2010 a remarkable year. I don’t know about everything you have to deal with but if you are a best man and wonder how to deal with your best man speech, I have some good news for you. In fact we have huge plans which we are going to implement in 2010 …. But, it’s not the right occasion to discuss about it. May be we can talk about it some other day.

For us the 2009 was a very eventful year.  We launched our best man speech product Best Man Speech Insight Premium last year.  It did extremely well, in fact, much better than our expectation. Best men around the world liked the product. This year we are going to make it even better.

By the way, did you notice that we have published 3 new articles on best man speeches? While Best Man Speech Structure discusses why it is important to create an outline pr structure before you actually put pen on paper, “How to Prepare for a Best Man Speech” is an article which teaches you the basics of a best man speech. The other article that we published is actually about groom speeches. May be the best man reading the article could help the groom write a decent groom speech. After all it’s the duty of the best man to help the groom to be prepared for everything that has something to do with his wedding.

Well, I guess that’s about it for today. Will be back soon with more details on the best man speech articles as well as information on Best Man Speech Insight. Until then have a nice time.

And After The Groom Speech It’s Time For The Best Man Speech

The Groom and the Best ManUsually the best man stands up to deliver his best man speech after the groom has given his. Often the groom welcomes the best man to give his speech at the end of his groom speech. A groom speech is quite different from the best man speech in spite of the fact that they are both wedding speeches and thus have to have the obvious similarities. In this blog post let me turn the spotlight to the groom and the groom speech. Can best man speeches get inspiration from best man speeches? But before we come to any conclusion let us look in to what can be termed as salient features of groom speeches.

Groom speeches are typically formal in nature. But, as usual, a groom with good sense of humor would always want his speech to be entertaining. He knows nothing can make his speech impressive.

The groom generally is the second speaker after the father of the bride. The father of the bride invariably mentions the grooms name in his wedding speech. So, even the nervous groom could get the cue from where he could begin his speech.

In his speech the groom welcomes and greets the guests present at the wedding. He also shows his gratitude towards the bride’s family.

He has to do a lot of thanking in his speech. A groom speech is all about thanking a lot of people including the bride (for saying “”Yes” and later “I do”), the bride’s family for obvious reason, the groomsmen and the best man especially for helping him all the way, the guests for attending, the lovely bridesmaids for helping his bride . . . . so on and so forth.

Towards the end of the groom speech the groom have praises for his bride and the maid of honors.

He wraps up his groom’s speech by toasting the bride and her family and welcoming the best man to give his speech.

Now, if you are the best man it’s your turn to stand and deliver. If the groom speech was flawless you are under pressure. But if you are well prepared you can easily get over the worries and give an outstanding speech. When you are ready a good entertaining speech from the groom should inspire you to give an even better best man speech.
