This post is written keeping not the best man but the groom in mind. I mean it’s written assuming that you are groom …. for a change.
Lately an article on best man gifts has been published and you can consider this post as a continuation to that article.
It’s the bride’s family who has to take care of the bulk of the planning associated to a wedding. The shopping, the invitations, the arrangements and everything else that make a wedding perfect. And amidst of all the festivity you have your friends, brothers and cousins standing by your side supporting you all the way through the wedding ceremony and reception. They are the groomsmen and one of them is the best man.
Do you think these guys are worthy of a very special thank you? Well, to be honest, a mere thank you is not going to work. Who doesn’t want to be appreciated? It is always a great idea to express your appreciation by means of little gifts that they are going to remember. It’s important that you keep an hour aside from your busy schedule and decide on the gifts you ought to buy for the best man as well as the groomsmen.
The groomsmen gifts don’t have to be expensive, unless you can afford or plan to give away something really special. However, if you are on a tight budget there are loads of stuffs to choose from for you as well. When it comes to purchasing gifts for the best man or the groomsmen, the thumb rule is – ask yourself what you would like to have as a gift if you were the best man or one of the groomsmen. As I already said there are endless products to choose from. Coffee mugs, cuff links, money clips to personalized stuffs like engraved crystal glasses, wine baskets, leather wallets … well, it all depends on your budget. You can even think of gadgets (my favorite).
I would again suggest you to read the article on best man gifts to get some more ideas on how to find the right gift for the best man (and the groomsmen).
See you next time around.
